Biography :

Dr. Anastasi is one of the country's leading clinical scientists in the area of symptom management. She is the Independence Foundation Endowed Professor at New York University and is the Founding Director for the Division of Special Studies in Symptom Management. Dr. Anastasi was formerly the Helen F. Pettit Endowed Professor at Columbia University and Director of the Center for AIDS Research and Integrative Therapies in Primary Care Program. Further, she is an outstanding teacher and has received recognition and acclaim through her receipt of the Columbia University Presidential Teaching Award. Dr. Anastasi served on the Advisory Board for the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) report on The Use of Complementary and Alternative Medicine by the American Public. She is also the principal investigator of several clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Paramount to her clinical research is that it translates into clinical practice, it is patient-centered, and it has a scientifically rigorous evidence base. Dr. Anastasi authored and developed the Herbs, Nutraceuticals and Dietary Supplements© graduate program funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). She has published extensively in the area of symptom management using non-invasive interventions and has received numerous awards for her contributions and expertise in acupuncture and symptom management research.

Dr. Franco Vicariotto, Medicine Doctor (Ph.D. Medicine), is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is now a senior consultant of San PIO X Hospital of Milan. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at University of Milan, where he also achieved the specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prof. Vicariotto is currently specialist consultant at Humanitas-S.PIO X Hospital of Milan and also at Lower Genital Tract Disease Unit at the V. Buzzi Hospital - University of Milan. He is currently in the Board of several scientific societies. In the Board of SIM, the Italian Society of Menopause Founder and in the Board of SIFIOG (Italian society of supplements in Obstetrician and Gynecology). Founder and honorary president of ISDSP (international society of dietary supplements and phytoterapy) In the field of menopause prof. Vicariotto is a co-author of the guidelines for hormone and non-hormonal therapy With his long experience as a specialist in Gynecology, Prof. Vicariotto is a clinical advisor on women’s health for several Italian and International companies. He is also a clinical advisor for IQVIA Health. Author of many publications and moderator-spokesman in scientific meeting and conferences in Italy and international He speaks English and German

Biography :

Fatih Yildiz is Founding member of the Department of Food Engineering of the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He has obtained his education at Maryland University in College Park, USA. His previous work experience includes teaching positions at the University of Minnesota and Maryland University, USA. Prof. Yildiz’s current research activities are focused on functional foods, health claims, as well as DNA technologies in food and agriculture and minimally processed foods. Prof.Yildiz is the author and editor of one of the first book published on phytoestrogens entitled” Phytoestrogens in Functional Foods” published by CRC and published several other books. Prof. Yildiz is currently Founder and Director of Mogan International Research Center Ankara Turkey, organizing conferences, writing books and consultant for companies among others.

Prof. Saneya Abd Alazim Wahba: Professor of Nutrition, Child health Dept. National Research Cente. She is interested in planning and conducting quantitative and qualitative nutrition surveys, as well as their data analysis. Nutrition education is one of her best areas for different categories of the community especially for the promotion of healthy eating and physical activity. Served as Head of child health Department (2002-2005). UNU Fellow to Dunn Nutrition Lab, Cambridge University. IUNS membership (1991-1995) Committee of Nutritional Anthropology. Bronze Medal from the National Research Center, Egypt for Scientific Achievements had many consultations with Many foreign agencies as USAID, SAVE the CHILDREN, NAMRU, UNICEF, WHO (mainly to work in poor areas in Upper Egypt). Recently with her colleges implementing nutrition education program for mothers of children under five.

Terms and Conditions

Responsibility

Delegates are personally responsible for their belongings at the venue. The Organizers will not be held responsible for any stolen or missing items belonging to Delegates, Speakers or Attendees; due to any reason whatsoever.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind.

Transportation

Please note that any (or) all transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied academies are a non-profit organization. This conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference. Once your registration is complete, please contact probiotics@nutritionconferences.com to request a personalized letter of invitation.

Regarding refunds, all bank charges will be for the registrant's account.

Cancellation, Postponement, and Transfer of Registration

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to Program Manager (probiotics@nutritionconferences.com or finance@alliedacademies.com).

Cancellation Policy

If Allied academies cancel this event for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences (AAC) event which must occur within one year from the date of cancellation.

Postponement

If Allied academies postpone an event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on rescheduled dates, you will receive a credit for 100% of the registration fee paid. You may use this credit for another Allied Academies Conferences event which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.

Transfer of registration

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organization if registered person is unable to attend the event. Transfers must be made by the registered person in writing to Program Manager. Details must be included with the full name of replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if it is intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied Academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues cannot come under the consideration of cancellation policy of Allied Academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund arrangements apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overheads, we had to keep Refund Policy is as following slabs-

•           Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund less $100 Service Fee

•           Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

•           Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund

•           E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies, and they generally apply when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. Please contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to cancel or amend your accommodation. Allied Academies will advise the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancelling or amending your booking, to ensure you are fully aware of any non-refundable deposits.
